ABSTRACT
To know the current situation of the C.P.A. “Calixto Sarduy Arcia” in Las Tunas province, a process of participatory diagnosis and strategic planning was developed in order to contribute to the development of sustainability, through a training and technological innovation plan adjusted to the needs of the organization and the community to achieve the continuous improvement in the economic and productive indicators, as well as the welfare of the ecosystem. The research is developed in three chapters: the first chapter is based on the conceptual framework and the critical review of the studied bibliography; a second chapter in which the experimental methodology MARPS (1997) for the Participatory diagnosis and for the Strategic Planning and the principles and methods of the New Paradigm Network of De Souza (2007) were applied. A diagnosis was made from the point of view of the participatory strategic planning, and the economic and productive indicators were analyzed with the participation of the workers to identify the main strengths and weaknesses, threats and opportunities. A third chapter shows the detected deficiencies and proposes actions to be taken for the different subsystems and the proposal of a training plan aimed at the managing board and the cooperative members. The obtained information source is based on the financial statements of the C.P.A., as well as the economic reports that are issued by it and the workshops with selected cooperative members and members of the managing board.
